SPRING COLOURS IN THE HOME
Warmer weather is finally here with us, which means it's the perfect time to refresh your interior with some spring hues. I've selected a pretty spring colour palette of pastels, that will subtly incorporate colour back into your home after the cold, darker winter months. Soft muted colours of mint blue, reminiscent of warmer blue skies & delicate blossom pink, compliment each other in any style of interior.
Simple ways to incorporate a splash of spring, is to update your home accessories. Replace dark heavy tones and textures with light pieces. Artwork always works to emphasise a colour change, without having to paint walls.
Fresh spring flowers are in abundance and breath new uplifting life into your rooms. I love these colourful porcelain bottle vases by Dutch company Foekje Fleurare available in a variety of shapes and colours. A single stem of flower, contrasting with these vases, creates an original piece of spring art. For more info FOEKJE FLEURARE
If you did want to go all out to bring in a spring colour injection, then the P5 iconic 20th century lighting design piece by Danish designer Poul Henningsen, would certainly be a timeless classic in any space. For more info P5 POUL HENNINGSEN
